Click Here for Karting Photos of 2011 Season Opener 2011 Rule Changes: All drivers must wear an official Snell 2005 or better approved full face helmet. Slicks or Treaded tires will be allowed in the Junior I classes and up. Slick tires are only allowed in the Rookie and Sportsman classes. IKF Junior II class has been dropped from our program due to poor kart numbers. Sportsman and Junior I caged karts will run animals and flatheads as seperate classes as long as there is enough karts. Drivers must race 8 of the 12 point races to receive an end of the year trophy. Everyone in the pits or the staging area must have the wristband. There is no charge if they want to sit in the tailgate section. Thanks! Questions? Please send an email to blackgold@tds.net  Minnewaska Area Go-Kart Racing Association MAGKRA moved to a new location in 2007 and built an approximate 1/8 mile, slightly banked, clay, oval go-kart track in Westport. The track is located 10 miles west of Sauk Centre, on the north side of Hwy. 28. Tailgate parking is located at the north and south sides of the track. There is no charge to watch the races from the tailgate area. If you want to enter any other areas of the facility you must purchase a $7 pit pass. All ages are welcome in our pit area.
